These profiles evolved using typically two main tools interlinked:

1. profile calculation potential flow with boundary layer and separation bubble configuration (surfaces with constant static pressure)

2. experimental validation in high-speed cavitation tunnel at IMHEF Swiss Federal Institute of Technology Lausanne
